Policy Search of Student Person |

|
Any teacher, principal, school security guard or
administrator that is employed by the Livingston Parish School Board, who has a
reasonable belief that any student has in his possession on public
school property, any weapon, illegal drug, alcohol, stolen goods
or other materials or objects the possession of which is a
violation of school board policy may conduct a random
search of such
person with a metal detector or may search the person of said
student provided that the teacher, school security guard, principal
or administrator has reasonable belief that the student has in
his/her possession any of the items mentioned above and will be
found. |
