CAMPUS RULES

 

A. Students are not allowed:
   
1. In the parking lot during school hours.
2. Around any area of construction or maintenance work.
3. To have gum or candy on campus.
4. To RUN in the halls on the way to and from the
  playground, class, cafeteria, or bus.
5. In the classroom without a teacher or permission given
  by a teacher before entering.
6. To loiter in the restroom. Students who are caught
  playing in the restrooms will be disciplined accordingly.
7. To write personal notes, reading of notes, passing of
  notes on campus.
8. To be in the possession of weapons or fireworks on
  campus.
9. To be in the possession of any electronic device,
  beepers, Game Boys, Nintendo cartridges, cameras,
  trading cards, toys, etc., on school campus.
10. To be in the possession of pornographic materials on
  school campus.
11. To bring beverage bottles or cans on school campus.
12. To call home for forgotten items.
13. In the library without a faculty member to return or
  checkout books. All library books must have a card
  before returning.
14. In the halls, and are to clear the halls as soon as possible
  when going to class or to the play area at recess.
15. To purchase candy, chips, and other snacks until after
  lunch.

 

B. Students will help keep the campus clean by throwing away
  trash in trash receptacles located on the school grounds.
C. No physical contact is allowed between students on the
  campus. There is no reason for any student having to touch another
  student at any time. This includes slapping, kicking, playing, or
  any other form of aggression or affectionate contact
D. The Livingston Parish School Board disapproves of and does 
  not tolerate sexual harassment by employees to students, by
  students to employees, or by one student to another student.
  Sexual harassment includes any type of sexually coercive or
  oppressive conduct, including, but not limited to, threats,
  comments, jokes or overtures of a sexual nature.

E. Students will not be allowed in the teacher's lounge.
F. All students must participate in class. Sleeping, not bringing
  required materials, or not attempting assigned work will not be
  allowed.
G. Students are encouraged to go to restrooms at designated times
  unless there is an emergency (teacher's discretion).  Parents
  should notify the school if there are special medical conditions.
