| Speech Therapy is a vital aspect of the educational program at Pine Ridge School. Students from the multi-handicapped and alternative education classes have speech therapy resources available for evaluation, therapy, and/or consultation. As the 2006-2007 school year begins, almost 20 students are seen for speech therapy, including services for articulation (speech sounds), language, hearing, augmentative communication, and other communication-related needs. Services are provided by Jackie Abington, who may be contacted by e-mail (Jackie.Abington@lpsb.org) or by calling the School (225-664-4823) should you have questions or desire additional information about the Speech Therapy Program. |
